On Monday of this week the weather in San Francisco was quite schizophrenic.
Morning sunshine by afternoon was blanketed by gray sky. Lite rain was followed by torrential downpours.
In the end the Bay was graced by the most beautiful rainbow.

I would have picked "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland to go with the beautiful picture.

We saw the rainbow on our way home from the airport. We crossed the bridge and pulled over to get some pictures.

Sean and Erin - I had seen the picture you posted of the rainbow, and I was excited because I knew that I had taken this picture and was going to post it too.
ReplyDeleteDad/Grandpa and Megan - Somewhere Over The Rainbow would have been too predictable for Song OF The Day. A close second was The Rainbow Connection by Kermit The Frog...but alas I chose a song from Evita...and yes Megan, Madonna happens to sing it =)
Actually I am partial to Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole's version of Over the Rainbow!
