This post is for anyone who spent time staring at The Nina, The Pinta, and The Santa Maria while waiting to take their next shot on Grandpa and Grandma Collins' pool table.
Whether seated in a bean bag chair in the 70s or on green leather chairs in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s; the staples of the upstairs loft area in Grandma and Grandpa's house were the pool table, the green shag carpet, and the felt lined replicas of the ships that Christopher Columbus sailed on for his journey to the new world.
After being wrapped up in newspaper for over a year; I finally found a new home for these treasures. Displayed on new wooden easels, the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria are now back "afloat" on top of my bathroom cabinet.
