Cha Cha Cha Don't You Know That I Love You . . .

This week I had a surprise visitor at work.  My friend Elaine called to say she was in the City and wanted to know if she was close to my office.  I gave Elaine what I thought were pretty simple directions on how to catch the Muni for a buck fifty and in three short stops she would be right in front of my building.

A co-worker overheard me and later asked why I didn't tell her to just walk.  Walk?  I looked at my co-worker and said, "Knowing my friend Elaine she is probably wearing heels and is all dolled up." I didn't give her the name Cha Cha for nothing!

Well Elaine didn't disappoint.  She was looking fierce with her new short hair, BR silk scarf and coordinated heels.   (See Below)

Oh, and apparently my simple Muni directions were not so simple because she rode the subway right past my office all the way to the Cal Train Depot!

The above picture was taken at our outdoor seating area of our cafeteria.  Nice view isn't it?

Thanks for coming to see me Elaine!

  1. I was so happy to see you my friend!! I only wished that I could have stayed longer to see you hard at work and perhaps view the rest of the city through the muni or bart. (whatever your form of transportation is here in the city). Next time, I wanna come to your lovely abode and see this wonderful view that you're always speaking of.

always in my heart-your one and only prom date,
